As a young girl Nikki alway had the competitive bug competing in county hockey, competed up to national standard in athletics and had just started played premiership rugby before being introduced to bobsleigh. 

​

Nikki started her bobsleigh career as a brakeman before stepping into the driver's seat. Since then she has self funded her season leading to a podium finish in Lillehammer, Norway and a 13th position in the Austrian World Cup. 

​

Alongside bobsleigh Nikki works as a physiotherapist for both humans and animals. Since a young age Nikki had been a keen horse rider, competing regularly throughout the summer.
